Engagement Photography Sessions

An engagement is the period of time between the pledge of marriage and the joining of love in a civil or religious ceremony.

Your special time can be captured and memories relived by way of an engagement photography session.

Adding an engagement photography shoot to your wedding package will enhance your special year and the memories you will keep from it.

Have your engagement photo shoot on location, in our studio or a combination of both, your pictures will be expertly taken and professionally processed.

Experienced direction will be given to you to ensure your photography shoot will be a comfortable and relaxing experience photographed at your own pace.

By having an portrait session you can share your pictures in your wedding invitations and you social media.

Wedding websites are also available.

Some couples also choose to have an enlarged framed image and have their guests sign the matting as a remembrance that can be hung on a wall.

For those who don't always feel comfortable in front of the camera, having an engagement shoot will provide a little practice before your big day.

Frequently Asked Questions

1) Are your images high-res images or do I have to purchase the larger file size later?

A. The images you receive on your disk are at optimal size. There will be no extra charges at a later date for large file sizes as these photos will be the largest size determined by the crop.

2) Is all this work yours?

A. Yes, I'm the photographer. All images and editing you receive are by Stephen Wright of Wright Web & Photo.

3) What are the terms of your payment plan?

A. The terms are: 1/3 on booking and balance on receiving your pictures.

4) Who owns the copyrights to the photos?

A. You do. I may ask for permission to use in our portfolio, but it's your decision.

5) Do you come early to get shots of the Bride and/or Groom before the ceremony?

A. Yes, when you schedule the photographer to start is when we do. We can accommodate visits to both the Bride's location and the Groom's whenever the proximity allows.

6) Will you stay extra time if needed?

A. If we're able to, yes. In some cases like a 4 hour wedding photographer package, there may be another booking to go to afterwards. This question is best to be brought up at the time of your free consultation.

7) How long will it take to get our pictures?

A. You will receive your pictures within 1-3 weeks.

8) What is your travel distance that is included in the price?

A. We travel within the GTA. Please contact us for surrounding areas.

9) Do you offer a website so distant family members can see our photos.

A. Your custom package can include a website. All websites are built for Smartphone as well as desktop and include a Landing page and a Wedding Photography Gallery page. If an engagement photography session is also booked these shoots are included in the website on a separate gallery page for FREE.

10) Can you show me more examples of weddings that your photographer has done?

A. Yes, only so many pictures are on the website. More wedding photography images can be viewed at your free consultation.

11) Will the photographer let others take photos?

A. Yes, a ceremony is an important family event and others want to be part of it. It's important to set a little 'Red Carpet' time for guests and then proceed to the professional photographer work. This is why having a website for guests to see is so important, your friends and relatives don't have to miss out on your professional photos.
